The new BL annime will be released as 4 OVA episodes. With the first volume available from October 2014 and subsequent volumes released monthly till January 2015. All first-press volumes will feature illustrated slipcase, digipak, manga booklet, character fragrance cards (varies with each volume), metal-plate bookmark, art book, etc. Similar to the Junjo Romantica and Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi releases. If I’m not wrong, both first-press Blu-ray (6,500 Yen) and DVD (5,500 Yen) versions have the same items.

After a long hiatus since boy’s love manga Hybrid Child’s anime was announced, the new cast of the anime is announced! We can expect more updates and news about the anime in the upcoming months. Cover features the first couple in the story: Hazuki and Izumi Kotarou.

Summary:
The Hybrid Child is an amazing android that can grow if it is lavished with enough love and care from its owner. Neither fully machine nor fully human, the various Hybrid Child models develop strong emotional bonds with their owners. Each short story contains love, sacrifice, and drama: Young Kotaro learns the importance of responsibility when his Hybrid Child’s lifespan runs out. The tragic swordsman Seya learns to love again with the help of his Hybrid child, Yuzu. The final tale tells the story of Kuroda, the creator of the Hybrid Child designs.

The new cast is completely different from the ones in the drama cd that was released in 2005. I think the new cast would sound fine. The stories are shounen-ai, maybe except for story 3, so there are no H-voices to worry about :P
